Edith B. (Bowen) Marchesi, 79, of Little Compton, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017 at John Clarke Retirement & Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late Frank J. Marchesi.
Mrs. Marchesi was born in Fall River, daughter of the late Robert M. and Adelaide S. (Medeiros) Bowen and had been a lifelong resident of Little Compton. Prior to her retirement in 2008, she worked for the Little Compton School Department for 29 years. She was an avid knitter and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her adopted daughter: Elizabeth Skye Marchesi of HI; her step son: Kimber Marchesi of Little Compton; a brother: Charles G. Case of Fall River; 2 sisters: Joan M. Koehn of Little Compton and Judith A. Stroum of Tiverton; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the step-daughter of the late Charles B. Case and sister of the late Mary F. Monteiro.
Graveside service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Pleasant View Cemetery, Tiverton at 2:00 P.M.
