SPENCER: Paul L. Arsenault 73, died peacefully at his home, with his wife at his side on Saturday, March 25th.
He leaves his wife of 50 years, Susan M. (Leware) Arsenault, his daughters Michele M. Toomey and her husband Matthew of E.Brookfield, Lisa J. Landry and her fiance Bert Milliken of Spencer, 3 brothers Kenneth Arsenault and his wife Maxine of Spencer, Michael Arsenault and his wife Maryanna of Maine, and Donald Arsenault of McClean, Va., a sister Linda Rogers and her husband Albert of Spencer, 6 grandchildren; Cote Toomey, Ryan Landry, Amber Hanny, Corrine Landry, Matthew Toomey and Nicholas Toomey, 3 great grandchildren; Karter Toomey, Harrison Landry and Silas Hanny, many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by brothers Gordon and Edward Arsenault and sisters Betty Barre, Phyillis Bondanza, Dorothy Grennon, Lillian Cristofono and Ethel Conti.
Paul was a packaging engineer for Signode Corp. in Ill., before retiring in 2005. He later owned his own packaging co. under the name Service Alternatives. He was an animal lover, bird and wildlife enthusiast, enjoyed fishing and flew model airplanes. He was a member of the So.Hadley R.C. Club.
Born in Worcester, he was the son of Edward and Florence (Fairbrother) Arsenault and later served in the National Guard.
A Memorial Service will be held at Noon on Wednesday, March 29 in the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Calling hours from 10 to Noon will precede the service on Wednesday. Burial will take place at a later date in Pine Grove Cemetery, Spencer. Please omit flowers. Contributions may be made to either the Spencer Rescue Squad, Inc., P.O.
