WORCESTER - Thomas Elbag, 69, of Dixfield Street died Thursday, September 8 at his daughter Elizabeth's house after a brief illness.
He leaves his two daughters Kathleen M. Prapalinis of Worcester and Elizabeth A. Elbag of Worcester; a sister Phyllis Merhio of Wellesley and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a sister Sadie Stewart. He was born in Worcester son of John and Marguerite (Thomas) Elberg.
Mr. Elbag was a machine operator for Thermal Electron for 25 years before retiring in 2001. He previously was a barber for 15 years. He enjoyed baseball, football, reading and lifiting weights.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 14 at 10 AM in St. Catherine of Sweden Church 1 Wiser Ave. Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond Street is directing arrangements.
