Obituary

Mr. Leclerc Montissol, age 88, passed away on Wednesday March 15, 2017 at Saint Elizabeth's Hospital. Leclerc was born on April 14, 1928 in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti to the late Lemontane Montissol and Paulina Auslin. He was the second oldest of four children. Leclerc grew up in Leogane, Haiti where he spent most of his childhood. On October 26, 1971 he married Jeanne Emile. In 1975 he migrated to Boston, along with his children. He spent his adult life working as a Cooper to support his family. He also worked at the Marriott Hotel until retiring in 1995. Leclerc enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Leclerc was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Charilia Montissol, Jeannette Montissol, and brother Fresner Montissol. Left to honor Leclerc and continue his legacy are his wife Jeanne Montissol of 45 years, his 10 children: Marie Carole, LeonardJean Yonel, Jean Wilbert, Mario, Emmanuel, Fritzner, Mickler, Jean Willy, and Mimose. 40 grandchildren and over 27 great-grandchildren
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Joseph Russo Funeral Home, 814 American Legion Highway, Roslindale on Friday March 24th from 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning March 25th at 10am in Saint Angela's Church, 1548 Blue Hill Ave., Mattapan.

Interment at Mount Hope Cemetery.
