Obituary

Aleida "Lee" V. Mullaly, age 83, died peacefully, while surrounded by family, on May 27, 2002, at her Medford residence.

She was born in Medford, on September 12, 1918, a daughter of the late to Walter and Lydia (Birch) Crosby.

Aleida was a graduate of Medford High School and a homemaker to her beloved husband and four children. She married Stanton Mullaly on August 30, 1942 in St. Mary's Rectory in Cambridge.

She was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed watching Celtics games as well as football and baseball. Aleida loved playing cards and gardening.

She will be sorely missed.

She is the beloved wife of Stanton Mullaly and the loving mother of Joan L. Mullaly of Waltham, William S. and his wife Maureen T. Mullaly of Medford, June M. and her husband Robert H. Bain of Wakefield and Denise A. and her husband Daniel Chong of Nashua, N.H. Cherished Nana of Patrick, Amy, Jonathan, Kate, Robin, Michael, Wendy, Christopher, and Mailee. Dear Great Nana of Jeremy, Zachary, Stephen, Jessica, Amanda, and Michael, Jr., Dear friend of Alice Sullivan of Wakefield. Devoted sister of the late Robert and Melvin Crosby.

Donations in Aleida's memory may be made to Community Family Inc., 121 Washington Street, Medford, MA 02155 or to the Alzheimer's Association, 36 Cameron Street, Cambridge, MA 02140.

Her memorial service will be held in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Tuesday at 10 AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday from 3 to 7 PM
