Gail D. (Brichacek) Fiorentino, age 73 of Brockton died peacefully on Tuesday March 21, 2017 at the Signature Healthcare/Brockton Hospital. She was the devoted wife of Vito Fiorentino for 32 years. Gail was born and raised in Brockton a daughter of the late Ralph and Priscilla (Gary) Brichacek and was a 1963 graduate of Brockton High School.
Gail had left Brockton when she married and had lived in Avon and Wareham. She and Vito returned to the city 20 years ago.
As a secretary, Gail’s talents were used in the accounting and legal fields. She retired from Diesel Direct in Stoughton and previously worked in the office of Account Temps in Braintree, the Manomet Observatory and the law firm of Gately, Morgan & Gilfoyle in Braintree.
She loved retail fashion and was a volunteer at several area senior centers and military support groups. Gail loved animals and will be remembered as a kind, loving and generous woman who always made people feel welcome.
In addition to her husband, Gail is survived by her cousins Wayne D’Allessandro of Palm Springs, CA; Judy Foley of Duxbury; Cheryll Gagnon of Easton and many others. She leaves her lifelong friends Linda Cronin of St. Augustine, FL; Marilyn Diddle of Atlanta, GA and her neighbors Carmen Rosado and Cathy Tattrie.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (rte. 123) Brockton on Sunday 12-2pm followed by a service in the funeral home.
