Lakeport, NH—Paul John Rudzinski passed away peacefully in his sleep at home, on Saturday, March 18, 2017.
Born on April 10, 1955 at Lakes Region General Hospital, he was the son of John A. and Lorraine E. (Breton) Rudzinski.
Paul grew up in Lakeport where he lived his entire life. He attended Laconia schools, graduating from Laconia High School in 1973. He had a bachelor’s degree in business from Plymouth State College. He was retired from the Laconia Ice Co., the family business, where he worked for many years as the foreman of manufacturing operations.
Paul was a voracious reader with a remarkable knowledge of historic facts. He was interested in everything and could converse on a wide range of topics in vivid detail. His knowledge of World War II was extensive, especially the North African Campaigns led by Rommel. He loved his home and hardly ever missed a family gathering or a holiday meal. He truly cherished his son, Jonathan, and was always really happy to spend time with his long-time friends. He enjoyed talking about his early camping and hiking adventures and no one knows Chemung Road in Meredith better than he did.
Paul was predeceased by his father John in 2006.
Paul is survived by his beloved son, Jonathan Rudzinski, and his companion Pamela Walker of Chino Hills, CA. He is also survived by his mother, Lorraine Rudzinski of Laconia, and his siblings; Linda Terwilliger of Henniker, Donna Royal and husband Jim of Gilford, Tom Rudzinski and wife Karen of Laconia, and Ann Tardif and husband Alan of Gilford, as well as his nephews, grand nephews, nieces, uncles and aunts.
