William Barringer "Bill" Walker, 84, of Anderson died March 20, 2017 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital from fire related injuries.
He was born September 26, 1932 in Blacksburg, VA, the son of Roy James and Lola Eugenia (Barringer) Walker.
He was employed with the Indiana State Highway Dept. for over 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Clarice Lee (Wilson) Walker of Anderson whom he married August 29, 1955 in Anderson; four children, Brenda Lee (Jerry) Williams; William Richard "Richie" (Pamela) Walker; Linda Marie (Danny) Huston; Terri LeAnn (Douglas) Tupling; grandchildren, Joshua (Sarah) Williams; Anna Williams, Cory Whetten, Alex Thomas, Amanda Huston, Danielle Huston, William (Erin) Wire, Michael Tupling and Nichole Tupling; great grandchildren, Matthew and Charlotte Williams; Andrew and Amaya Wire; Grace and Lizi Maier and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Roy Elliott, Robert and James Walker; four sisters, Faye, Glenna, Wilda and Frieda.
Service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 24 at Park Place Church of God with Rev. Phil Bruzzese officiating.
Burial will follow in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
