Worcester – Loretta Riel, 75, of Worcester died on Saturday, March 18th in Saint Vincent Hospital.
Loretta was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Joseph and Claire (Morin) Riel and had 5 brothers, Leo, George, Richard, Roger and Ronald. She also had 2 sisters, Janice and Jeannine.
Loretta loved her home and housemates on Providence St. She had a wonderful wacky sense of humor, always enjoyed a good joke and was a pleasure to be around. Loretta participated fully in her life. She has worked at Innovative Resources with the Glavin Center and most recently at HMEA in Millbury, where she enjoyed spending time with her coworkers and friends. Loretta loved hanging out with friends, shopping, going out to eat, vacations and especially her coconut iced coffee.
A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, March 23 at 10 AM in Blessed Sacrament Church 555 Pleasant Street at 10 AM with burial to follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.
