Aldrich, Frank Nathan 93, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2017, at Heights Crossing in Brockton, MA. He was the husband of the late, Edna Dora Aldrich, both longtime residents of Dover, MA.
Born in Jackson, MI, he attended Dartmouth College, Class of 1945 and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps, 8th Air Force, 1943 – 1946. Between 1948 and 1988 he worked for the First National Bank of Boston, Latin America Division to include residing in Cuba and Brazil before retiring as a Sr. V.P. Subsequently, he served as CEO of the McLaughlin Bank and Amicorp N.V. Netherlands Antilles.
He was the recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal with 4 Oak Leaf clusters and the Order of the Southern Cross presented him by the government of Brazil. He was a member of the Society of the Cincinnati (New Hampshire) the Sphinx Society, Veterans of the Battle of the Bulge, the Masons, Shriners and Beta Theta Pi.
He is survived by his daughter, Marion Aldrich of Arlington, VA, his son, Clinton Aldrich of Easton, MA, his daughter-in-law, Carol Aldrich of Easton, MA, numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved Dalmatian, Dots. Funeral Service in the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St.(Rt.16) Wellesley, on Tuesday, March 21, at 1pm. Visitation prior to the service from 12noon-1pm. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in Highland Cemetery, Dover.
