Nancy Stembridge Hightower, age 87, of Chase City, Virginia passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2017. She was born on December 23, 1929 in Chase City to the late Finis and Cora Gregory Stembridge. She was predeceased by her husbands, Nick Hightower and Paul Davis, two sisters, Marion Thorpe and Carolyn Jones and two brothers, Bobby Stembridge and Johnny Stembridge.
Nancy is survived by her son, Monty Hightower and his wife, Gala of Chase City, granddaughter, Sophia Hightower, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends, Roger and Edna Comer. She is a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 20, 2017 from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
