47, passed away on March 15, 2017, at Norton Women's and Children's Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky and was granted her angel wings.
Tracy's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Her gentle smile could melt the hearts of those around her and though she never spoke a word, her voice and thoughts could always be heard.
Although Tracy's illness made her appear frail, she possessed strength, perserverance and an ability to overcome incredible odds and physical challenges. With her courage, she led us to believe that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories. She will forever remain in our hearts.
She could spend hours playing her small pianos and organs, making her own kind of music. Her favorite thing in the whole world was her electric toothbrush - she loved the vibration against her cheek. She loved bright colors and noise makers, things we referred to as "clickers."
Tracy is survived by her loving mother, Sharon Gilpin, caring stepfather, Darrell Gilpin, father, H. Michael Snawder, her protective and devoted brother, Trevor Gilpin and his wife Tammy, who always knew what made her smile, and brothers Scott Gilpin and Jason Snawder.
The family is having a private memorial service.
