Obituary

Ernest M. Tremblay, 62, of Pittsburg died September 4, 2005 at Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital in Colebrook after a brief illness.

Born in Manchester on August 18, 1943, he was the son of Ernest H. and Yvonne (Gentes) Tremblay. He lived in Bedford for 10 years and in Deerfield for 22 years before moving to Pittsburg in 1998.

He served in the New Hampshire Army National Guard and was activated during the Berlin Crisis.

Mr. Tremblay was a construction supervisor with Bell Atlantic where he had worked for 30 years. He had also worked as a police officer with the Bedford Police Department for two years.

He had served as a Cub Scout Master for Troop 5 in Bedford for two years and later served as a Eucharistic Minister.

The family includes his wife, Elaine M. (Remillard) Tremblay of Pittsburg; three sons, Brian W. Tremblay of Goffstown, Keith E. Tremblay of Pittsburg and Neil A. Tremblay of Merrimack; three grandchildren; four sisters, Sr. Pauline Tremblay, CSC of Bradenton, FL, Sr. Cecile Tremblay, CSC of Harrisville and Doris Simard and Therese Turner both of Florida; a brother, Marcel Tremblay of Lewiston, ME; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday September 10, 2005 in St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 190 Meetinghouse Rd., Bedford. After cremation, burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester.
