Helen Hall, 83, of Scooterville passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at Tifton Health and Rehabilitation. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017, at Bethel Baptist Church in Omega with the Rev. Jimmy Voyles officiating. Mrs. Hall will be laid to rest at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Omega. The family will receive friends Friday, March 17, 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Mrs. Hall will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
Robert Busbin, Wade Hurst Jr., Jason Hurst, Jason Hartsfield, Bobby Joe Dorsey and Isaac NeSmith will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Bill Walters.
Born January 27, 1934 in Tift County, Mrs. Hall was the daughter of the late Walter F. Hall and Mable Crum Hall Giddens. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Hall, Sr.; and one brother, Harold Hall. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Omega. She enjoyed baking wedding cakes, painting and woodcrafts.
Mrs. Hall is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Robert Busbin, Jr. of Tifton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Hubert Mark Hall, Jr. and wife, Anita Hall and Michael and Teresa Hall of Moultrie; her grandchildren, Jason Hurst, Wade Hurst Jr., Amanda NeSmith, Montana Hall and Cheyenne Hall; and six great-grandchildren, Allie Hurst, Kailyn Hurst, Camden Hurst, Hudson Hurst, Waylon NeSmith and Eason NeSmith.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial gifts may be made in Mrs. Hall’s name to the Youth Group or Vacation Bible School at the church of your choice.
