Albertine M. Martel, 89, of Manchester, died September 5, 2005 at St. Teresa’s Health Care Center, after a long illness.
She was born in Manchester on May 14, 1916, and was the daughter of Honore and Edina (Tacher) Perreault.
She was a graduate of local schools and was a member of St. Anne- St. Augustin parish.
She enjoyed spending time at the William B. Cashin Senior Center.
Family members include 2 sons; Lucien Martel, of Manchester, Robert Martel, of Hooksett; 2 daughters Lucienne Miranda, of Somerset MA, Rita Caron, of Fall River MA; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; nieces nephews and cousins.
She was pre deceased by her husband Lucien in April of 1996, and a son Joseph Martel in May 2005.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday September 9, 2005 in St. Anne- St. Augustin Church, Beech St. Manchester.
Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
