FALL RIVER… Yvette L. (Barnaby) Gagnon, 89, of Fall River passed away March 13, 2017 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
She was the widow of Alexander Gagnon.
Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late John B. and Clarilda (Jodou) Barnaby. She had lived with her husband in Westport since 1976 before moving to Fall River 1 year ago.
Mrs. Gagnon was a communicant of St. Bernadette’s Parish and worked as a sewing machine operator at various mills throughout the area. She enjoyed reading.
Survivors include her sister, Irene Levesque of Fall River, several nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late Lorraine Theroux, Norman, Frederick, Eli “Stu”, Ernest, who passed away during WWII, Rene and Roger Barnaby.
Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held on Friday, March 17th at 10 AM in the Mausoleum at Notre Dame Cemetery, 1540 Stafford Rd. Fall River. Arrangements are entrusted to South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River, MA 02723.
