Obituary


Marcel F. Beauregard, age 82, of North Easton, died peacefully on Thursday March 9, 2017 in the company of his family. Marcel previously lived in Brockton for the past 55 years and resided in Hallandale Beach, Florida during the winters with his loving wife of 59 years, Rita (Audet) Beauregard.

Marcel was born in Ste. Hyacinthe, Quebec, Canada, son of the late Osias and Rose Beauregard, before moving to the United States at the age of 15. He was a graduate of Chicopee High School and served proudly in the US Army during the Korean War before completing his degrees in accounting at Holyoke Community College and American International College. Marcel spent most of his career as a Revenue Agent with the I.R.S. where he received several accolades before retiring in 1990. Marcel enjoyed traveling with his wife and had a keen appreciation for nature and wildlife. He was an avid reader and enjoyed quiet time with his family, especially his adoring grandchildren and great-grandson.

In addition to his beloved wife Rita (Audet) Beauregard, Marcel is survived by his three daughters and their significant others, Anne Beauregard and her companion, Bill McCarthy, Carol (Beauregard) Imprescia and her husband, Richard Imprescia, Suzanne (Beauregard) Garbarino and her husband, David Garbarino. He leaves his four grandchildren Maggie Garbarino, Kirstie Imprescia, Kalie Imprescia, Salvatore M. Imprescia and his great-grandson, Benjamin Imprescia, his brother-in-law Jacques Audet and companion Denise Valliancourt and several nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by his sisters Simone (Rivet) Martin and Aline Beauregard, his brother Roger Beauregard and his aunt and uncle Jeanne and Arthur Heroux.

Visiting hours will be held at Conley Funeral Home, Brockton on Friday, March 17th from 4-7 p.m. The procession will gather at the funeral home on Saturday, March 18th at 10am followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Church at 225 Purchase Street, South Easton.
