North Augusta, SC---Thomas Wayne Riner of North Augusta, SC entered into rest on Saturday, March 11, 2017.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 3:00 pm in the Platt’s Funeral Home Crawford Avenue Chapel with Pastor Masaki Chiba officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.
Mr. Riner was born in Emanuel County, GA. His early years were in service to his country, as a distinguished member of the U. S. Army Honor Guard, in Arlington, VA. He retired from a career as a comptroller in the auto industry, in Augusta, GA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth Lewis Riner and Thomas Hilton Riner.
Mr. Riner is survived by two sisters, Gail R. McBrayer (Charlie) of Waynesboro, GA and Kate S. Hill of Warrenton, Ga, brother, Reid Riner of Belvedere, SC and was a much beloved uncle to his four nieces and a nephew.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2:00 pm until the time of services, at Platt’s Funeral Home Crawford Avenue.
