Ryan P. Taylor, age 26, of Norton passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.
Born in Newton, MA on May 24, 1990, he was a loving son of Robert W. and Teresa M. (McGhee) Taylor of Norton.
Ryan spent his childhood growing up in Norwood and also for three years in Nevada. He had made his home in Norton for the past eighteen years and was a 2009 graduate of Norton High School.
He, along with his family, attended St. Mary’s Church in Norton. He loved spending time with family, especially with his newborn son Troy. While growing up he was an outstanding baseball and football player. Ryan also had a special love for fishing and kayaking.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving girlfriend Nicole Rego of Taunton and his cherished children Troy R. Rego and Ayva Hammond. He was the dear brother of Andrew R. Taylor, Nicholas J. Taylor and Jullianne O. Taylor all of Norton. He was the adoring grandson of Jack and Jean (Ferrara) Taylor of Norwood, Sandra (McQuestion) McGhee of Falmouth and the late John McGhee. He was the beloved nephew of Christopher McGhee and his wife Sherry of Falmouth, Matthew McGhee and his wife Kim of Reading, Jay Taylor and his wife Sharon of Franklin, and Dawn (Taylor) Baxter and Sean Baxter of Bellingham. He is also survived by many loving cousins.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, March 18th from 3:00-6:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp St. (Off Route 140, Taunton Ave.) Norton
A funeral service will be held at the conclusion of visitation at 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
In place of flowers, Ryan’s family would prefer that donations in his memory be made to the Troy R. Rego Educational Fund, care of, North Easton Savings Bank, 25 West Main St., Norton, MA 02766.
