Yvette M. (Couture) Buentgen, 91, of Salem, passed away peacefully at the Abbott House Nursing Home in Lynn Thursday, March 9, 2017. She was the wife of the late Robert L. Buentgen.
Born and raised in Lewiston Maine, Yvette moved to Salem, with her family, in 1953. She devoted
her time to the care of her family and home. She was a member of the former St. Joseph Parish and more recently St. James Parish both of Salem.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda G. O’Keefe and her husband Philip of Beverly and South Carolina, four grandchildren, Leah Whitcomb, David O’Keefe, Robert O’Keefe and Colleen O’Keefe as well as 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Route 114 / 1-A] Salem on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 1:00 PM to be followed by her graveside service at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 226 North St., Salem at 2:00 PM.
