Beatrice B. (George) Young, 88, of Anderson died March 10, 2017 at Community Northview Care Center.
She was born September 3, 1928 in Newport, Arkansas to Walter and Jessie (Bookout) George.
She worked production at Delco Remy 23 years before retiring in 1993 and also worked at Anderson Country Club. She loved nature.
She is survived by her three children, Belenda (Harry) Morgan; Cheryl Jean "CJ" Young (Tom Gill) and Jerry (Mary Jane) Young; daughter-in-law, Dawn Perry; four grandchildren; Jeffrey Perry, Jara (Patrick) Perry; Jacob (Jessica) Young and Sara Young; four great grandchildren: Bailey Perry, Alexandra Perry, Harper Young and Kaelynn Young; special friend, Pat Baker and ex son-in-law, David Flanary.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Charles "Skip" Perry.
Service will be held at 4 p.m. on Monday, March 13, 2017 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
Private burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday.
The family wishes to thank Southern Care Hospice and Community Northview Care Center for their compassionate care.
