Michael E. Hogan, 72, of Kingston and formally of Bennington VT, passed away on March 7, 2017 with his wife and daughter by his side. Beloved husband of 46 years to Kathy F. Hogan. Loving father of Stacy Watts and her husband Keith of Marshfield, MA. Son of Michael J. and Magdalene Hogan, who predeceased him. Brother to Bernard Hogan of Pownal VT, Sheila Harrington of Bennington VT, and the late W. Kevin Hogan. Cherished grandfather of Brady, Jameson, and Maya Watts. Also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mike was a 1963 graduate of Bennington Catholic High School and a longtime furniture salesman in Bennington before retiring in 2012 and moving to the Kingston area to be closer to his grandchildren. In addition to helping care for the grandchildren, he worked part time at the Kingston Stop and Shop.
Memorial visiting hours will be held on Saturday, March 18th from 11-1:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (Rt. 106) Kingston.
