Ronald Wade Burgess, son of the late Edward W. and Idella (Wade) Burgess peacefully passed away March 4, 2017 at his home at the age of 64. Ronnie or Ronzo as he was known to friends, was known for his thick mustache, sense of humor and love of classic rock. He traveled and had a great sense of adventure at a young age. He enjoyed being near the ocean most of all whether he was going to the beach with friends, fishing, scuba diving, or playing water sports. He could spend hours just watching the sea from his pickup at the waterfront while enjoying Peaceful Meadows ice cream with his two daughters, Brooke Thomas and Rebecca Burgess of Carver. His daughters were his two greatest accomplishments in life. His son in law, a fellow carpenter, Kane Thomas shared his passion for carpentry. He leaves behind three grandsons who he loved dearly, Hunter, Dillon and Luke. He also leaves behind his sister, Linda F. Warner and her husband Len of Kingston; nephew, Justin Warner; niece, Jennifer Warner; great niece, Mackenzie; and great nephew AJ. He was also brother of the late Steven A. Burgess and uncle of the late Lisa M. Warner. Arrangements with Silva Funeral Home were privately held.
