Rene A. Robergeau
March 18, 1919 – March 6, 2017
Rene Robergeau was born in Baraderes, Haiti. He was the loving son of Antoine Robergeau and Therese Bernard. He attended primary and secondary schools in Port-au-Prince.
In the mid nineteen sixties, he immigrated to the U.S. with his wife Simone and his four lovely children, Marlene, Chantal, Roland, and Rolande.
As a young husband and father, he worked at the Department of Public Works in multiple water projects. He was employed as a Quality Control Inspector for over 20 years at Stone and Webster in Boston, MA until he retired in 1984.
Rene was a great father, husband, and friend. He lived a simple life. He always looked forward to the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays where he will spend precious times with his wife, children, grandchildren and his good friend and son-in-law Frantz.
Few people knew Rene was a Hockey fan but he also was a diehard Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. His favorite pastime was playing dominoes with his friends. There was so much good qualities about Rene that it would take a journal to tell them all.
Rene is survived by his wife Simone, his four children, his grandchildren Greg, Michelle, Rachel, Steven, Olga, Tracy, Dianna, Cassie, Arnold, Jasmine, Noah and 2 great grandchildren Kendrick and Jules.
