WORCESTER-Rose M. (Stoskus) Karlon, 88, formerly of 6 Arnold Road died Monday, September 5 in her daughter’s home. Her husband Martin D. Karlon died in 1985. She leaves two sons, Martin R. Karlon of Charlton and Michael P. Karlon of Millbury, a daughter, Christine M. Rasku with whom she lived, a brother, Stanley Stoskus of Leicester, ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Joseph and Mary Stoskus and graduated from Worcester Girls Trade School. Mrs. Karlon worked at St. Pierre Chain and Telechron for many years before retiring. She was a member of St. Catherine of Sweden Church.
The funeral is Wednesday, September 7 from LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Catherine of Sweden Church, 1 Wiser Avenue. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in St. John’s Cemetery. A calling hour will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 the morning of the funeral in the funeral home.
