Obituary

Arthur Martin, 95, of Anderson went to be with the Lord on March 5, 2017 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital after an extended illness.

Arthur was born January 28, 1922 in Morgantown, Kentucky to John and Celia Martin.

He worked as a utility man at Delco Remy division of General Motors 33 years before retiring.

He served in the United States Army during World War II.
He is survived by his daughters, Brenda (Christopher) Perry of Anderson and Betty (Carl) Dennis of Audubon, Iowa; six grandchildren, Shelby (Chris) Sears; Andrea (Aaron) Ballard; Jamie (Brad) Manning; Chris (Anne) Martin; Tami (Bill) Courtney ; Angie Rogers and several others that live in Iowa; several great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 60 years, Beatrice (Hodson) Martin, two sons, Arthur E. Martin and Thomas Hughes; three sisters and four brothers.
Service will be 3 p.m. Friday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Joe Roysden of Valley Grove Freewill Baptist Church officiating,
Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery with military graveside rites.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to Madison County Humane Society.
