RAYNHAM — Mary M. Chandler passed away February 24, 2017, just hours before her 87th birthday.
She was born in New Bedford and lived most of her life in Fairhaven before retiring from CommElectric and moving to Fort Myers, FL.
She was the widow of Chester F. Chandler Jr., and is survived by her son Stephen F. Chandler and his wife Connie of Bridgewater, her daughter Kathleen Chandler Fonseca and her husband John of Fairhaven, and daughter Christine M. Pava and her husband George of Milford. She will also be missed by her six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Mary's family will be forever grateful to the staff at All American Assisted Living in Raynham, who loved her like she was family. Thank you also to Hospice Services of Massachusetts in Wareham, especially Carmen and Keri.
There will be a private graveside service. It was her desire to be cremated and buried next to her late husband at Rural Cemetery, 149 Dartmouth Street, New Bedford, MA. in New Bedford, MA. 02740
