Phyllis (Aloise) Bragg passed away peacefully at the Massachusetts General Hospital. She was 100 years old. Born and raised in Boston’s North End, she was the daughter of the late Alberto and Lucia (DeOrio) Aloise. A Medford resident for over 40 years, she was a devoted wife and mother, still cooking meals until recently. She loved to care for her family and enjoyed being with her grandchildren and all the generations of her family.
The beloved wife of the late Horace Bragg, she was the devoted mother of Lucille Shedd and her late husband Billy, Carol Casey and her husband Jerry and Phyllis Perry and her husband Tom, all of Medford. She was a loving grandmother to Kelly, Billy, Kim and Scott and is also survived by nine loving great-grandchildren and one loving great-great grandchild. The sister of the late Domenic, Thomas, Albert and Adam Aloise, she also leaves many nieces and nephews as well as her family dog Moet.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Thursday March 9th at 9:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Mary's Church, 670 Washington Avenue, Revere, at 10:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family on Wednesday 4 - 8 PM.
