Paul L. Tocci, age 68, of Framingham, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 4, 2017 after an 11 year battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.
Paul was born on January 11, 1949 and grew up in Newton. He became a Master Carpenter and worked for 10 years at McLean Hospital prior to establishing Topnotch Construction, which he operated for 10 years. After that, Paul enjoyed his employment at Boston University for 12 years until his retirement in 2007.
Paul loved life and was a dedicated member of the Xtreme Riders Motorcycle Club. Motorcycles, hunting, fishing, carpentry, and going to Tom’s Cabin in Millsfield, NH were his passions, but none could rival his love for his family.
Paul was the beloved husband of Patti (Milley) Tocci to whom he was married for 29 years. He was a devoted Dad to his daughters, Jillian Tocci of Framingham and Dawn Tocci of Las Vegas, NV, and loving son of Imelda (LaForge) (Tocci) Morin of Mashpee and the late Joseph Tocci. Paul was also a dear brother to his twin Peter Tocci of Durham, NC, Joe Tocci of Tom’s River, NJ, Jim Tocci of Mashpee, and Gretchen (Tocci) Gradzewicz of Naples, FL.
A Memorial Service will be held at Edwards Church, UCC, 39 Edwards Street, Framingham on Saturday, March 11 at 11:00 A.M. A Celebration of Life reception will be held immediately following the service in the church hall. As Paul always preferred to be in jeans and flannels, all are invited to dress comfortably to honor him.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul’s memory may be made to the Continuing Connections Program at the Callahan Senior Center, 535 Union Avenue, Framingham, MA 01702 (a weekly support group for those with Alzheimer's and their caregivers) or to the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund at CureAlz.org.
