Millard, Sr., Benny L., 87, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017 in Louisville, KY.
He was born to Belva and Hortense (Davenport) Millard.
Benny was a member of Shively Christian Church, 1822 Kendall Ln., Louisville, KY, 40216, he worked as a Division Manager for Sears, and also retired from the Army Reserve after 38 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Brenna; and a step-grandson, Derrick Fondern.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Shirley (Basham) Rohleder Millard; children, Benny Millard, Jr. (Robin), Kathryn Davis (Mike); step-children, Gayle Bolton, Mark, Jennifer, Benjamin, and Brian Rohleder (Connie); 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00AM at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway; burial is in Bethany Cemetery.
Visitation is Tuesday 12:00-8:00 PM.
