Funeral Service in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte123) Brockton, Thursday at 11 a.m. Burial in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Visiting Hours Wednesday 3-5 p.m.
Mrs. Otis died Sunday at her home after a brief illness. Wife of the late Howard T. Otis. Born in Dedham, daughter of the late Daniel F. and Mary A. (McLaughlin) McDonough. Raised and educated in Hyde Park. Received her Assoc. degree from Massasoit Community College, Bachelor degree in education from Bridgewater State College and attended classes at Stonehill College. Teacher’s aid for the Boston School For The Deaf in Randolph and Social Worker in Headstart in Brockton.
Recently she completed a realtors course.
Active volunteer at St. Colman School, Plouffe School.
Also volunteered with the handicapped children of Brockton swimming group, the Easter Seals, Muscular Dystrophy, Cerebral Palsy for over 15 years.
She is survived by 4 sons Howard of Weymouth, George, Steven and Scott Otis all of Brockton
