Johnny R. Mobley, 71, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Sunday, March 5, 2017, at his residence.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
Mr. Mobley was born July 9, 1945, in Valdosta, Georgia, to the late Bill & Lucille Belcher Mobley. He was a sheetrock finisher and painting contractor. Mr. Mobley lived in the community most of his life and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was of the Holiness faith.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Evelyn Ring Mobley of Fitzgerald, a son, Eddie Smith and his fiance’ Sandie Jones of Fitzgerald; two daughters: Angela Naugle of Orlando, Florida and Victoria & Steve Miller of South Carolina; a sister, Janice Farmer of Fitzgerald; and his best friend for many years, Charlie & Sheila Solomon of Fitzgerald. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, John Thompson and a brother, Robert Mobley.
