CHICOPEE – Lorraine E. “Lori” (Renkowicz) Chandonnet passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield. She leaves behind her husband Allan, daughter Debra (David), son Gordon (Sherry) and step-son Scott, 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. She also leaves her sister Barbara Grinuk of Enfield, CT and her brother Gene Paul Renkowic and his wife Nancy of Chicopee. Lorraine was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Cora Renkowicz, her brother Joseph Jr., and her sons Leonard, Jr. and Richard. Lori was employed at Al’s Diner in Willimansett for over 55 years and volunteered at many local charities and Meals on Wheels. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday morning, March 8, 2017 beginning at 9 a.m. at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in Sainte Rose de Lima Church, Chicopee. Her burial will be private. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 from 4 pm to 7 pm. The parking lot and main entrance are located in the rear of the funeral home at 20 Lafayette Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
