Claurinda I. "Claudina" Crugnale of Medford died on Wednesday, March 1, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Born and raised in Pettorano sul Gizio, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Domenico and Maria (Suzi) Crugnale.
Claurinda was the beloved wife of the late Nicola Crugnale, and the devoted mother of Euliana Cardone of Medford. She was the loving grandmother of Alfredo Cardone and his wife Nicolina, Claudia Laposta and her husband Italo, and the loving great grandmother of Giuliana and Adriana Cardone, Davide and Arianna Laposta. Claurinda was the sister of Ugo Crugnale and his wife Lina of Medford, Sistina Crugnale and her late husband Giacomo of Italy, and the late Miechele Crugnale, Panfilo Crugnale, and Olga Suzi. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Tuesday, March 7 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with entombment at Woodlawn Mausoleum, Everett. Visiting hours Monday, March 6, from 4 through 8 PM.
