Helen Frances (Giannelli) Sully of Medford died on Wednesday, March 1, at the Bear Hill Nursing Center of Stoneham. Born and raised in Everett, she was the daughter of the late Paolo and Raffaela (Pallotta) Giannelli.
Helen was the beloved wife of the late William E. Sully, and the devoted mother of Ralph Sully and his wife Erica of Malden, Ellen Farrell and her husband Daniel of Tewksbury, and the late William R. Sully. She was the loving grandmother of Ralph W. and his wife Kathleen, Raquel, and Russell Sully, Danielle, Emily, and Andrew Farrell, and the loving great grandmother of Nathan Sully. Helen was predeceased by nine brothers and sisters, and is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday, March 11, at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Visiting hours Friday, March 10, from 4 through 8 PM.
