Roma Dell Trusty Taylor, age 80, died Tuesday, February 28, 2017 in Oxford, MS. She was born February 1, 1937 in Big Creek, MS to the late James and Maudie Trusty. Roma Dell was a member of O’Tuckolofa Baptist Church in Water Valley, MS and had retired from Borg-Warner after many years of service. She was a current resident of Bruce Living Center in Bruce, MS and always enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon on Friday, March 3, 2017 at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 12:00 noon in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Bro. Dan Dickerson officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Crest Memorial Garden Cemetery in Yalobusha County, MS.
Roma Dell is survived by her son, Glenn Tate of Southaven, MS; her brother, James Moore Trusty of Alabama; four grandchildren, LeAnn Robertson, Tiffany Tate, Brooke Tate and Roman Tate; and one great-grandchild, Kinsley Robertson.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Adren Taylor; her son, James Michael Tate; and her brother, Jerry Trusty.
