Obituary

Thomas J. Salamone, age 61, of Middleboro, formerly of Hull and Brockton, died unexpectedly January 14, 2017 at Morton Hospital. Born in Quincy and raised in Braintree, Tom was the son of the late James V. Salamone and Marion C. (Woodford) (Salamone) Flynn. He was educated at Blue Hills Regional Technical School and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Tom was a talented artist as a young boy and enjoyed art, drawing and painting. He especially loved time fishing with his father. For many years, he worked at various restaurants in the Brockton and Avon area.

Tom is survived by a sister Laurie Bettinson and her husband Dana of Carver, and his aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Thursday March 9, 5-8pm. A Funeral Service will be held Friday at 11am, followed by burial in the Massachusetts National Cemetery. Please consider donations in Tom’s name to a veteran’s charity of your choice.
