Russell L. Tetreault, 67 of Acushnet died February 28, 2017 unexpectedly at Massachusetts General Hospital.
He was the husband of Elaine (Avila) Tetreault.
Born in Acushnet, son of late Louis A. and Priscilla C. (Nault) Tetreault, he lived in New Bedford and Acushnet most of his life.
Mr. Tetreault was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church.
He was formerly employed by Zapp Manufacturing as a machine operator until his retirement.
Mr. Tetreault enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and trips to Foxwoods.
Survivors include his wife; 2 sons, Russell L. Tetreault, Jr and his wife Sherri of Fairhaven and Dr. Jules Tetreault and his wife Heather of Old Lyme, CT; a brother, Louis E. Tetreault of Acushnet; and 4 grandchildren, Nicole Tetreault, Bethany Tetreault, Olivia Tetreault and Ryan Tetreault.
His Funeral will be held on Saturday, March 4th at 9 AM from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, followed by his Funeral Mass at St. Francis Xavier Church at 10 AM. Visiting hours will be on Friday, March 3rd from 4-8 PM. Entombment will be in St. John's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to St. Francis Xavier Church, 125 Main St., Acushnet, MA 02743.
