Albert Trappe
Grovetown, GA – Entered into rest Monday, February 27, 2017, Albert H. Trappe, 98, loving husband of Irene Hyman Trappe.
Mr. Trappe was a native of San Antonio, TX. He was a US Navy Veteran and retired from civil service in San Antonio. Mr. Trappe loved to dance and travel. He had a passion to build things and even built his own house. He was a member of Advent Lutheran Church and Toastmasters. Most recently, he retired from McCormick County as Director of Disaster Preparedness.
In addition to his wife, family members include: daughters: Brenda Mueller, Nona Rodeen, Linda Scott; son: Karl Trappe, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mr. Trappe was preceded in death by his first wife, Ramona Irwin Trappe Baker and his second wife, Miriam Wright Trappe.
A funeral service will be Friday, March 3, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Advent Lutheran Church with Rev. Andrea Windsor-Peterson and Rev. Jason Peterson officiating. Burial will follow at Pineview Memorial Gardens in North Augusta, SC.
