Obituary



Jason P. Marinaccio, of Plaistow, NH formerly of Georgetown and Woburn, passed away suddenly from injuries sustained in a car accident, February 25, 2017. He was 34 years of age. Born in Winchester he was the beloved and cherished son of Camille (DeFazio) Lovasco of Woburn and her late husband, Salvatore J. Lovasco, Paul Marinaccio and his wife Bonnie of Woburn.

Jason has been a resident of Plaistow, NH for the past six years. He was raised and educated in Woburn and Georgetown and was a 2000 graduate of Georgetown High School. Jason was a very bright and talented young man. He worked for over fourteen years as a security technician with Tesla Systems Inc. where he was well liked by his many coworkers, peers and the many people he came across during his work. Jason loved working with his hands and his mind. He enjoyed fixing and rebuilding cars and motorcycles stripping them down and putting them back together. He was also very technically gifted when it came to computers and he also enjoyed designing and building his own computers. Jason loved music and was a talented musician and drummer. He cherished his friendships and loved hanging out with his friends. However, Jason's greatest joy was his family and nothing made him happier than spending time with those he loved.

In addition to his parents, Jason is survived by his stepsister Tara McGarrigle and her husband DJ, and stepbrother Jason Merola, all of Woburn. He was the loving grandson of Frances DeFazio of Woburn and her late husband Domenic R. DeFazio, the late Paul and Rose Marinaccio. Godson of Kevin Blais of Westford. Nephew of Janice Picklus of East Bridgewater, Donna Morgan and her husband Dave of MT, Ralph Marinaccio and wife Susan of Woburn, Helen Ann Chandler of CA, Charles Marinaccio and wife Gail of Woburn, Richard Marinaccio of CA, and the late Pauline Blais. Loving cousin of Tyler, Travis and Tanner Picklus. Further survived by many many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Saturday, March 4th, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in St. Anthony Church, 851 Main St., Woburn, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday from 4 thru 8 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Jason's memory to the Italian Home for Children, 1125 Centre St., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130.
