Mavis A. Boisvert, 85, of Derry, NH died Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at the Aurora Senior Living in Derry. She was born in Manchester, NH on February 8, 1932, a daughter of the late George M. and Bessie M. (Chaplin) Demarais, and had been a lifelong Derry resident. She had attended Derry schools, and had been employed for Chelmsford Shoe Co. in Derry. Mavis was a member of the Rebekahs.
She is survived by her husband, Elwin K. Boisvert of Derry; one son, Kenneth E. Boisvert of Gorham, NH; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
There are no calling hours. A graveside service was held on Friday, March 3rd at 1:30pm in the Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 63 E. Broadway, Derry, NH 03038.
