Tierney, Mary “Hazel”, 86, was called home Sunday, February 26, 2017 at her home.
Hazel was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of SS. Simon & Jude Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, John E. Tierney Sr.; her first husband, Earnest F. Waddell; a son, George Waddell; two brothers; and three sisters.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Michael Waddell, Danny Waddell (Maryann), Vickie Osting (Kevin), and John Tierney Jr. (Barbara); eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be Friday at 10:00AM at SS. Simon & Jude Catholic Church, 4335 Hazelwood Ave.; burial is in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West.
Visitation is Thursday 1:00-8:00PM at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
