Felton Henry Brinson, Jr., 90, of Tifton passed away Monday, February 27, 2017, at Legacy Village in Moultrie. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mr. Brinson at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2017, at Oak Ridge Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest. The Rev. Joseph L. Crumley will officiate.
Born January 19, 1927 in Valdosta, Mr. Brinson was the son of the late Felton Henry Brinson, Sr. and Ella Mae Harvey Brinson. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. He graduated from Tift County High School. He served our country in the Korean War, served in the United States Army, the United States Navy and retired from the United States Air Force. He loved his football.
Mr. Brinson is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Jeannette B. and Joe Johnson of Tifton; his nieces and nephews, Venisha Buckley, Kim Johnson and Joey Johnson, all of Tifton; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
