Worcester- Elaine Mae Williams, 81, passed away on February 19, 2017 in her residence after a brief illness.
She was born in Belize City, Belize on May 7, 1935 one of fourteen children of the late William and Henrietta (Vazquez) Dixon.
When her family moved to the United States they settled in Los Angeles where she met her late husband, Benjamin Williams. She worked in Los Angeles as a nurse for many years before relocating to Worcester. Elaine enjoyed playing bingo, trying her luck with scratch tickets and traveling but above all she enjoyed time spent with her loving family.
She leaves behind, a daughter, Diana Marie Felix of Fitchburg; 3 grandchildren, Alexander Felix, Tiana Felix and Jewell Felix all of Worcester; many nieces and nephews and several siblings.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, March 10th from 9:00am until 11:00am in the CALLAHAN FAY & CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. A Funeral Service will take place in the funeral home at the conclusion of the visitation. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery.
