HIRAM- On the rainy morning of Sunday February 26, at approximately 2am, Janet Ann Gochie Vickery, passed away. In her last moments of life she was surrounded by her loving husband Arnold Vickery, her seven children,Cheryl, Arnold, Tom, Donald, Jeffrey, Penny, and Robert, along with other special family members at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice Home in Scarborough, Maine.
Born on April 8th,1939 she began her adventures under the caring eyes of her loving parents James and Doris Gochie. She had four sisters and two brothers. Janet was on this earth to grace us all with her presence for 28,449 days. I feel that we must speak in terms of days because each and every one is as precious as the next, for how we choose to spend those bits of time here with our loved ones defines us all.
Janet, also known as Jenny, was a caring, compassionate, and loving person. She was a devoted wife, mother to seven, grandmother to ten, and friend to many. This is how she lives on. This is how she is remembered. She is a core component of our lives and the future generations she will be a part of. You will be greatly missed.
Services will be held privately by the family.
