Cynthia (Pina) Lobo, 76, of Plymouth died February 24, 2017 after a brief illness.
She was the wife of Lawrence J. "Jack" Lobo.
Born and raised in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Henry "Harry" and Julia (Pina) Pina, she lived in New Haven, CT for many years until retiring to Plymouth in 1983.
She was a member of the Top Teens Club.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Barrie Lobo and his wife Rosale of Orange, CT; 2 daughters, Jacqueline Lobo-Battle and her husband Frank of Decatur, GA and Darlene Lobo-Friedland and her husband Gregory of New Bedford; 2 brothers, Henry Pina and Larry Pina, both of New Bedford; 4 sisters, Linda Pina and Colleen Pina-Garron, both of New Bedford, Doreen Pina of Fayetteville, NC and Gail Pina-Crosby of Dublin, OH; 9 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Loretta Silva.
Her Funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 28th at 12 Noon from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, followed by her Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Assumption Church at 1 PM. Visiting hours will be on Monday, February 27th from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) 20 Batterson Park Rd. Farmington, CT 06032.
