Obituary

SALEM - Helen (Spilski) Dylingowski, age 100, formerly of Danvers, wife of the late Albin A. Dylingowski, died Friday morning, February 24, 2017 at the Avita of Newburyport, assisted living residence.

Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Stanislaus and Carolina (Furtek) Spilski. She was a parishioner of the St. John the Baptist Church, Salem and was a resident of Danvers for many years.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed by GTE Sylvania at the Loring Avenue, Salem plant.

Helen is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Mary Dylingowski of Amesbury, one daughter, Linda Zumbro of Hermitage, Tennessee, two grandsons, Stephen and his wife Julie Dylingowski of Northfield, NH, Michael and his wife Patricia Dylingowski of Westborough, great grandchildren, Catrin and Danny of Northfield, NH, Allyson of Westborough and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Helen was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Zerola, Sophie Curran and her brother, Walter Spilski.

Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2017 with a visitation from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 AM at the St. John the Baptist Church, Salem. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Salem. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
