Obituary

Craig W. Graves, 28, of North Stonington died unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 22, 2017. Craig was born January 19, 1989, in Westerly, the son of Tristan McLean and Kenneth Graves. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother Cody Graves.

Craig worked at Beriah Lewis Farm in North Stonington. Craig was fearless, loyal, and very dedicated to his family, friends and his job at the farm. On good days or bad, that is where you would find him tending his daily duties. He loved fishing and riding motorcycles and was never afraid to speak his mind or give an honest opinion. He took care of his home, making sure there was always enough firewood for his dad.

Craig and Cody were the definition of the word “brothers.” They had a compelling desire to be there for each other no matter the circumstance. That makes them a fine example for us all to follow.

Craig and his mom were always together while having animated conversations with his stepfather, Mike French. They had a lot of laughs.

Craig will never be forgotten by those who were blessed with the memories of his life. Every time you see beauty in this North Stonington countryside, you will see Craig Graves.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Saturday, March 18, from 3 to 6pm at the Pawcatuck VFW, Route 1, Pawcatuck.
