Betty Levandowski
Betty (Smead) Levandowski, 83, of Norwich died Thursday, February 9, 2017 in the care of the Apple Rehab Center of Mystic. She was born on October 3, 1933 in Norwich and was the late wife of Thomas John Levandowski.
She is survived by two siblings, Robert Smead and Roberta (Mell) Elnicki. She is also survived by two sons, Robert and Thomas, along with her daughter, Deborah.
Betty was known as a caregiver and worked for 25 years at the Sheltering Arms of Norwich.
Her loves included cooking and animals. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She touched the lives of so many she met and will be dearly missed.
A springtime burial has been planned for family and close friends.
All donations in her memory should be given to the Humane Society on her behalf.
