Anna M. Miele, 85 of Medford, died Saturday following a brief illness. Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Domenic and the late Margaret (Amara) Palumbo. She was a Medford resident for over sixty years and was very active at the Medford Senior Center.
Anna is the beloved wife of the late Louis J. Miele and is survived by her children, Anthony of East Hampton, Donald of Chicopee, Roseann Lugar of Virginia Beach, VA, Joseph of Danvers and Edward of Derry, NH. Also survived by thirteen loving grandchildren and eight loving great grandchildren. Sister of Josephine Dentino of Newton, Joseph Palumbo of Hyde Park, Frances Lamothe of Ohio, Rose Ananian and Mary Alfano of Quincy, the late Vincent Palumbo. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Tuesday at 10 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 2-4 & 7-9. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
